Description:
A map of Aracan and Pegu(Burma / Myanmar). Appearing at the top of the page is Siam or Thailand. The city Sian is Ayutthaya and appears on a rather large island surounded by the Menan Fluvius. Towards the bottom of the page is Bengala or Bengal and the city of Chatigam (Chittagong).
This miniature map was engraved by Jodocus Hondius Jnr. for his uncle, Petrus Bertius book, "Tabularum geographicarum contractarum..." first published in Amsterdam in 1616.
